The plcolorbar implementation should now be functionally complete
(rev. 11402).  It still requires testing, but all of the features
should be in place.

Added:

- plshades support, including uneven spacing between shade segments
(see example 33, page 7)
- plgradient support
- Extra pages in example 33 to illustrate this functionality
