Hi Andrew: Here is the Debian packager's response to 726069: "I will add the patch and create a new package. Note that I sent the patch to libharu upstream and they included it. So the next version will no longer require the patch. https://github.com/libharu/libharu/commit/e6fae213911c28bc00bb788f3d5a42913e37fbbe"; So it is all good, and this implies that quite soon you will be able to build PLplot debs that include the pdf device.
