Hi Chris, good to hear that. But I do remember - from, admittedly, long ago - that at installation time of Cygwin you could opt for either Windows or Linux line endings. Maybe that option has been dropped and we will not have to deal with any complications of that kind ... oh, regardless, I just realize: people can edit files with their favourite Windows editor and commit them under Cygwin.
Hm, is there any way to prevent that? (Right now, I edit the files under Windows but I also commit them under Windows - which makes for a consistent view.)
