I've been running plplot on Mac OSX 10.6.4 and updated plplot from 5.9.4 to 5.9.5 with Macports. After the updating of plplot, behavior of plscol0 and plcolbg have been wrong in fortran language. When putting plscol0 or plcolbg before plinit or plstar, the degree of red, green and blue of whole color indices set forcedly 0. Also behavior of plgcol0 have been wrong when putting into plinit or plstar. Those problem were tested in the plplot sample cord in fortran.
Please confirm that problem with the sample cord in fortran and please let me know how to solve that.
