Thanks for the answer.
I guess I just have to get started installing the Linux first - then I hopefully see
clearer what I need next.
My primary need is some some offline browsing capability somehow the way I've been
using the avantgo
service for the PocketPC (In my opinion Avantgo/Internetxplorer is a true killer app
which I will miss from
pocketPC since I'm not wireless). Pdb files is naturally not what I primarily want.
An XML or HTML based
format would do probably do the trick for me.
I agree that seems that there are Linux is not really the competitor for the smaller
Palms. Its more a competitor
in the niche of the PocketPC. My primary problem with Palm devices is that they do not
really have any
serious screens for reading. The new Sony Clie and the Handera will be the only
exceptions I've read about
going beyond 160 pixels horizontally.
