I've been looking up-close-and-personal at a colleague's Agenda VR3,
and it's a cute little box -- X Windows and Linux in a package smaller
than a Palm III.  I suspect that we'll be seeing more of these in the
future; the Sharp model sounds like a decent platform, for instance.

I think that a Plucker viewer that runs on Linux with GTK or FLTK will
work pretty well on any Linux PDA.
