The desktop viewer basically just unpacks the pdb file > back to html pages and renders them. The Zaurus viewer will run under Windows and Linux (desktop, as well as Zaurus varieties 8^) ) but requires the QT libraries (not a problem on Linux 8^) ), if anyone wants it. The Windows version is a lttle unstable (but only in release mode AFAIK - could be an optimisation problem) but is probably easily fixable if anyone wants to try (actually, if there is enough interest I'll do it myself 8^) ). > From: Fringe Ryder <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > 2. The same is true of the Zaurus but despite the fact that I didn't target the Plucker format at first, it has become very popular on the Zaurus. The compression and convenience of a single file, plus the speed and small memory footprint of an eText reader vs a web browser (and we're talking Opera on the Zaurus!) makes Plucker a far more pleasurable reading experience. Now if only I could fix the 60kb image and 32kb text segment problems - actually I have, but its not a Palm compatible so won't work for Plucker proper 8^( so it still needs work.
