While you're in there, I always wondered why the path to plucker.ini, version, etc. where hard coded into the program by way of #define'd variables. Shouldn't these be picked up from the environment, at least in the case of plucker.ini? That way the compiled version is more portable to different setups on the same OS (I admit I'm thinking Windows here where most don't compile their own programs).
