Hello, I have plukered (sp?) the following doc http://cm.bell-labs.com/cm/cs/who/dmr/retro.html (an article about Unix writen by Denis M. Ritchie) that is practicaly only text with one or two gifs (to show tables!). When viewed on a Palm OS 5 pda (Zire 71) with the second small font, I have found that two lines overlap. Look for the text "The addressing mechanism for must be carefully designed if it is to be efficient". Here there are a little gif that contain the number "10" and is used like an exponent ( 10\over{10} or pow(10)). With the standar font (not hires) the looks perfect, so I think that the inline image and the hires font are the problem...
