Title: Plucker Suggestions

You have a great product and I love it! Here is my wish list (so far) in order of desirability.

1) A way to handle text on dark backgrounds. If the fonts are white or very light on a page with a dark background, I am unable to read the document without exporting. A good example is www.metacritic.com.

2) A more accessible category filtering feature that allows you to select more quickly, those categories you want to see at a given time (when you have a very long list of files on a large card, it becomes difficult to find things in a hurry). I would want to quickly flip to one category and then flip back to another. A drop down menu would be good.  Perhaps the user could even create custom lists and select from them as well as individual categories.

3) The ability to read text sideways on your pda, much like Palm Reader supports. A very handy feature when reading long passages or when you are connected to the charger and trying to read at the same time while holding the pda in your lap.

4) A way to perform multiple regular expressions in places where that is supported for a channel, particularly on the text of the link itself. I have one site I am trying to figure out how to traverse (Arts and Letters Daily -- www.aldaily.com), but it is a portal, hence mega content is returned by Plucker even with a few levels of traversal. Everything goes to a different site, so hard to limit the number of pages. Each link I want to follow however is labelled "More". If I could test for that label on the link, I could do it with no problem. So, the ability to match not only the href, but the actual text of the link would be very handy.

5) What about the ability to specify multiple form elements by name on a page as well as the text that goes into them for logging onto web sites and using sites that don't support the get method. Perhaps this is already possible and I just haven't delved into the functionality enough.

6) The ability to schedule times more precisely would be awesome. For instance, I might want to update a site twice a week or twice a day, but not at a regular interval.

7) This is complicated but I think it would be extremely useful. What if you could have the desktop software traverse your links, pulls the pages back and then allow you view the pages. Then you could left-click on the links you want, and right-click on those you don't. These settings could be stored for retrieval and then further tweaked or edited if need be. Another nicety would be the option to exclude content or links that aren't followed so that they don't appear at all in the output. This would be good to have in the program now. In that same vein, it would also be nice to simply have links that don't work not appear as links. I am always forgetting what level of detail I retrieved and I get that dialog window constantly which slows reading down quite a bit.

This is my list for now.  There is more but this will do for now. The program is excellent. Thank you so much for making such a great program for the palm. Also, thank you for the new beta. It fixed nicely all of the destination crash bugs on my Clie.
