I prefer the _concept_ of multiple sets of annotations which would be
sharable among PDAs, but I'd like to see some form of annotations in Plucker
so I'll take it any way I can get it.  Alex, if you're willing to code it
your way, I'm willing to use it your way. ;-)

I also agree that adding a new datatype would be very handy.  I think it
should be made a bit more generic than POPUP_TEXT though--a la Jim's
suggestion for 'modification method'.
