Right-clicking will probably use the default settings for the
desktop. What if they had "maxdepth" parameter set to "1"?
Then, well, nothing would be converted besides the root (home)
document -- your HTML file.

Anyway, your problem seems to require further investigation (by
you). Without additional info any tries to solve it will be just
plain guessing...
