However, my mail problem is not the gatering or creating of plucker pdbs. I have a 24/7-online Linux machine at work that can do the gabbing of content and creation of pdbs at regular intervals. My problem is how to get the pdbs to my Visor Dx when I am on the go, that is, away from a cradle, just with a modem (fixed line or GSM mobile). I have an ftp server where I could put the pdbs and download them to my Visor Dx with lftp but had no success so far - I'll have to test that more. Sending the pdbs to my pda-email account is no problem, only getting the attachments installed on the palm. Sigh. Is there a http download-and-install utility somewhere? That would also work for me.
