the only thing I miss about Plucker is when I do not have access to my
desktop computer, I cannot update my plucker.pdb's (newspapers etc) like
AvantGo did. I understand that there might me a my.plkr.org in the
future, but I'd like a solution now.
I can run a cron job on my always-online machine. Now, delivering and
installing the pdbs to my Visor is the challenge. I could
1. Put the pdbs on my ftp server and retrieve them with lftp.
Has anyone done that yet? How about installing pdbs from lftp?
Does anyone have an lftp script for that?
2. Send the pdbs to my Visor by email. How about automated
installation here?
3. Anything else?
Any ideas / help would be appreciated.
