I have a Visor Prism with a SmartMedia Memplug springboard module. I know
this is probably the slowest of units out there, so hear me out.
I have a /palm/programs/plucker directory with about 60+ items in it of
varying size. "Syncronizing docuemnts" process can take anywhere from 2-3
minutes. This is quite a long time to wait especially since I need to use
it for Train schedules in a moments notice.
I tried to copy the one file I need most often to RAM and making it
launchable, but it still Syncs the doc list before bringing it up.
I use Wordsmith and it does not seem to take this long. Is there anyway
to cache this data? Or make the sync manual, or maybe tell it just to
list the files instead of going deeper into the file?
