Check to make sure you are really invoking the 1.4.1 JRE. Another Mac OS X user posted a message here that it did work on his configuration. I think you are using the default 1.3.1 VM. This would explain why you are getting the NoSuchFieldError and NoSuchMethodError exceptions. Sorry, I don't have a Mac, so I can't check this for you.
