I mentioned the slow or choppy autosrcoll and the split files here in this
forum, but did not report them as bugs.  With the latter, I do understand
Palm's limitations, but I also realize that it can be overcome, as other
programs can trick the user into thinking that the data is not "chunked."
Well...I don't UNDERSTAND, I remember the responses I received here.  I'm
not much of a programmer, so I don't really understand, you see.


***  The split files issue was discussed.  I myself raised it (although I
doubt I was the first) and really I felt I got the brush off. I mentioned
that other programs solve the problem, and it seemed that the response was
always that it is a palm limitation.  Now that just isn't logical. I
appreciate that it may not be the easiest to fix, but it is such a glaring
shortcoming.  I cannot understand why the problem is swept under the
carpet.
