Besides the huge amount of complexity of trying to get the existing
parser and distiller code (using whatever flavor you choose, python, java,
perl or otherwise) onto the Palm, and then adding the networking/online
capabilities and error detection, it's only a simple matter =)
Seriously though, it's a huge task to do that; to port the parser
and the image rendering code to the Palm side, as well as the code to init
and maintain a network-connected session, and the http requests/socket code
as well. I'm sure someone has done it, but I don't think this is the job of
Plucker, not right now anyway. There are also issues of space when rendering
the images and HTML pages and such on the Palm side. The power is on the
desktop for rendering content, and that's always been the main focus of
Plucker since the beginning; desktop-centric, client-controlled fetching.
