Actually, that's how many of the commercial on-line web browsers for
PalmOS do it. I know definitely that Handspring's Blazer does. You must
use a special proxy that converts the web pages into a format usable on
the small 160x160 screen. And Avantgo also routes _all_ traffic through
its own servers, which is quite stupid technically, since it still is
normal html. But this is they way they do it, so they can charge the
content-providers based on actual traffic. And it's why some content
providers terminated their agreements with Avantgo (namely the German
heise Verlag, makers of c't and iX magazines).
