Honestly, the reason I came here first for help was because I don't have that much confidence in support for commercial programs. I've always had better luck with user communities, so it's my first avenue. By the time I ask a question, I'm not looking for the easy fixes. I've tried everything I could think of and am looking for expertise to help me go the next step. I know there's a lot of people that, as soon as an error shows up, will post a message without doing any troubleshooting, but that's not the case here. I've definitely gone beyond what I know. I don't have much knowledge of Python at all. This message helped explain what was happening in the process. It's very strange that Python would throw the message. It almost seems it is an error happening as Python is unloading. I'm guessing it doesn't like what Covenant Eyes is returning. I know that Covenant Eyes sits in the TCP/IP stack and acts as a proxy for all HTTP traffic. Uninstalling Covenant Eyes is just not an option for me, and I really don't want to get rid of Plucker. Hopefully the CE guys will figure something out.

Why are you asking for help with Covenant Eyes on a mailing list
dedicated to supporting Plucker? I don't think the two are related. If you
want, I'm sure some curious people on the Plucker list(s) who want to help
can take a look at the Covenant Eyes source code and try to figure out what
the problem might be, however, I'm sure that the source code isn't available
for review, so guess who loses... not Plucker.

Plucker reports successful completion, and hands off the threads to
Windows, which tosses on them. At this point, Plucker has completed its job,
and the OS is given back control. While the logs are useful, they provide
nothing to indicate that Plucker had an error or failure which would have
caused that problem.
I would first try the following:
1.) Uninstall Covenant Eyes.
2.) Uninstall Plucker
3.) Reboot
4.) Run RegClean[1]
5.) Reboot
6.) Install any updates from Windows Update[2]
7.) Run RegClean again (yes, you have to)
8.) Reboot
9.) Install Plucker
10.) Install Covenant Eyes
Try to reproduce the problem at that point, and see if it occurs.
If the problem persists, then I would contact the Covenant Eyes
people and ask if they've seen this reported before. If not, then I would
report it to them as a new issue. You've already reported it here, and
nobody runs Covenant Eyes that I've heard so far, and even if we had,
there's no way to tell what its doing underneath without the code to audit
it, so we'd get as far as you have, very likely.

Why not? You stumped them when you reported it to them?

Attacking the merits of Plucker, because of some _third party_
application you installed which causes Windows to crash threads, is no way
to earn friends or _free support_ here. We do this because it's fun, or
interesting to us.. having people blame our project, because some other
application misbehaves with it, is not making this any more fun for us.
Good luck in your quest.
