Plucker Viewer and HiRes

Rather disappointed to see that the new version of Plucker Viewer (1.4) 
has no support for hires devices such as my Sony SJ30. The hires version 
at hires.plkr.org (v20030611-am) hasn't been updated lately and IIRC the 
reason was that the hires capability was being integrated into the main 
program. It *was* in the beta version of 1.4.

My interest in updating from v20030611-am is that there is a bug in the 
way any of the jog dial functions work when the 'autoscroll slower' 
function is assigned to it. When I reported this several weeks back the 
word was that it was fixed in the 1.4 beta. I tried that but the 
autoscroll stuff didn't work right at all. (It still doesn't work right 
in the new version, btw). Each scroll update seems to wait for a 
complete screen redraw, which takes way too long. This was more 
noticable on the beta in hires - more pixels to redraw. But this problem 
*was* fixed in v20030611-am.
