Also getting 'locale can not be set' error

Like two others on this list (Andrew Sawyer and Erich Neuwirth), I just 
downloaded Plucker Desktop 1.4 and am getting the "locale '' cannot be set" 
errors.  This prevents hotsyncing as well.  I am using Windows XP.

Any help appreciated!
