Not an answer, just a couple of related questions.

Plucker 1.8
When I go to the library. Not sure about direct to a document as all my
documents are on the card, so I would expect activity. [ ... ]
My device is a Sony Clie SJ30 OS 4.1, with a Sony MS 128 Meg.
I'm also on Plucker 1.8, on a Clie S320. When I delete a document
(from the document view, not the library view) and see "Synchronizing
Documents", there's a light on the top of the Clie next to the
memory stick which flashes. I assume that means it's accessing
the memory stick. But that seems strange because in Library
preferences, Update list is set to Ignore Card (and when I changed
to Ignore Card, the Synchronizing Documents wait did get a little
faster, though it's still slow). So why is the light flashing?
(It's not really a problem; I'm just curious.)
Yes, this is what I'm referring to. There is access to the card and it
is during the "Opening document list" message or there abouts.
I tried switching library updates to Manual, but then I got a lot
of Plucker crashes or situations where I couldn't load any document,
after I'd deleted a document when there was a new set of documents
waiting which Plucker wasn't aware of yet. (I didn't file that,
figuring it was probably known. I can file with more information
if it would be useful.)
Something else I haven't been able to figure out: if I'm reading a
document, and I go "back" from the home page to the library view,
then delete the document from the library view, that's fast (I
don't have to wait for "Synchronizing Documents" when going back
nor when deleting), but if I delete from within the document, I
do have to wait for that step before I can see the library view.
Why does it have to sync in one case but not the other?
Is that a bug?
I've seen this also, forgot about this one.
I'd love to be able to cut down the time I spend waiting for
these library syncs! Plucker 1.8 is nice and fast for reading.
I don't mind the about of time for the library syncs too much as I do
them manually (though is takes long enough that I've stop grabbing as
much as I have before), but I would really like to cut down the time
when it already has the library and I am just bring up Plucker.
