I also found a file "compileall.py" in /usr/lib/python2.2 and copied it to /usr/lib, de-installed, and re-installed plucker, and I saw a bunch of things being compiled this time. (Previosuly I saw an error about failing to find the compileall.py file).

I know nothing about python, and hope someone out there knows what I might be able to do to allow images to be properly parsed. I like Redhat 9, and at this time, upgrading is not a valid solution :).

Does RH9 really ship with Python 2.2? That can't be right.
