That is a really broad generalization. many cameras use compact flash memory rather than sd memory. If I'm correct, most canon cameras use compact flash. I think even Nikon uses compact flash. The second point is that the mmc/sd cards are reasonably flimsy, and cannot be used as keychains (that, literally being the point of the whole concept) Even though cf cards are better, I still wont go around carrying them in my pocket.
And as long as I'm doing this, I may as well go on and say that I've used a sandisk cruzer titanium and a lexar jumpdrive without issues. A final word on card readers. The 4 slot card readers (7 in 1, 9 in 1, whatever) are a really unrealiable lot. Buy a good one, otherwise you'll find some slot not working... ~sagar -- Sagar Gokhale -- ______________________________________________________________________ Pune GNU/Linux Users Group Mailing List: ([email protected]) List Information: http://plug.org.in/mailing-list/listinfo/plug-mail Send 'help' to [EMAIL PROTECTED] for mailing instructions.
