MySQL can be considered free speech. It's not GPL (read all about Monty's
philosophies that GPL is not suited for client-server apps) but the source
is all there. Andover.NET is subsidizing MySQL development now.
As for MSQL.. fergeddaboutit. It may have been "big" once but it has no
compelling advantages over MySQL (single-threaded, hello?) and is not even
free beer..
