[plug] xwindows on s3trio 3d

I installed x on my machine with s3trio 3d pci card. Any ideas on why my
xwindows crawl when using 16bpp & 24bpp at 800x600 or 1024x768? As in grabe
gapang. But if it's 8bpp, my gnome loads lightning fast. I guess, config
lang but I can't figure it out. I've done trial & error method (editing
XF86config file), but with no luck.
