hi. when you say system calls, does that mean system("somecommandhere"); ???
if you do...i dunno of any native command or utility that changes the
password
from a parameter. if u look at the passwd command, it's interactive. i
suppose
you can program "expect-like" here. else, you can go straight to the
password or
shadow file and insert the encrypted passwd using crypt in perl. problem is,
if your system uses MD5. at this point...i'm at a loss na.

i don't know any resources for cgi-perl programming but i wonder
can't u use system calls in perl to do this? i think its possible to do
change user password that way but im not that sure.
just correct me if im wrong.
btw, congrats to the new officers of plug. sayang i wasn't able to
attend that meeting because i had to attend another function at
another building.
