I haven't tried looking for stuff at the TUG, but the CTAN has so many
packages, docs, fonts, etc... that I will have a long time wading through
it all to find what I need. The brief (one-line per entry) catalog is
300k. Fortunately, much of what is there is very specialized - nice if you
need to typeset Cree/Inuktitut in Canadian Aboriginal Syllabics.  But my
needs are simpler....
