I'm using 4mb S3 Trio3D/2X at 1024x768x24bits with no problems.
I added the lines below in the Device section of XF86Config file. Got it
from maravillo ;-)
Option "sw_cursor"
Option "xaa_no_color_exp"
Add this line also in the Monitor section
Modeline "1024x768" 65.00 1024 1044 1188 1344 768 771 777 806 -hsync
-vsync
Before I made some changes with XF86Config, parang lakad ng langgam ang
xwindows ko.
