How about this, let them use ssh to login to your firewall server
and then they do another login to reach your SCO server.  OR
why not install ssh in the SCO server and then portfw the ssh ports?

Personally, I prefer the dual logins and use a second machine to be
a ssh server. It gives you better control as to who is logged in and
connected to your SCO server. If you suspect any problems, pull the
plug on the ssh server....reformat, reinstall and  assign new passwords.
