Hi all. I'm just wondering, as far as processor temperature is
concerned, what should one normally expect? I own an AMD K6-2 450 and
have not tried to overclock the darn thing because the processor temp
routinely goes above 60 deg. C from time to time, especially if I try
using it during the afternoons (well, these are hot days and I'm too
cheap to get airconditioning for my room). I'm constantly looking for
ways to lower my CPU temp. OTOH, system temp rarely goes above 40. My
Barracuda is already sitting behind a hard disk cooler. Any more
suggestions on cooling my CPU down? (been trying to look for heat sink
compound but looks like radio shack just sold out yesterday).
