I just got some useful information: the Celeron2 is out now! it has
MMX2/SSE, a 0.18micron core, 1.65V core voltage, the 256-bit L2 cache bus,
but only 128K of L2 (it's basically an FC-PGA Coppermine with half the
cache). And FiringSquad has gotten the 566MHz model up to 901MHz.
And the NEATEST part: 66MHz FSB. So I can run it in my BX Master. a 566MHz
model would have a multiplier of 8.5 and I could run it at 850MHz (DROOL),
100MHz FSB. If the pricing for the PPGA 533MHz is any indication, it
should cost around PhP 7,000 which is reasonable IMHO (considering how
high it can overclock..)
I cant wait for this processor to hit the local market. :))
