the cheapie case I'm using right now ("mirage" mid-tower ATX from NexGen
Greenhills) already has the holes in the side for a fan (it also has a
mounting bracket). That's in addition to the really crude mounting bracket
in the front. Both locations take a standard 60x60mm fan.

It also has a small set of holes beside the power supply at the top of the
case. You can put a 40x40mm exhaust fan there to suck out hot air (the two
other fans are at the bottom and should be intake fans). The top (small)
fan should be a high-performance unit to match the two intake fans; I got
a Global Win 40x40mm 30CFM (!) fan which I think could serve.

However I'm running the case open 'cause my overclocking experiment won't
tolerate the temperature rise of a closed case. Oh well..  :]
