[Sorry for straying off-topic, but this is where the
good guys hang out...]
In our office, we got no NT, an aging Novell server we're
phasing out, and several Linux servers (here to stay)
running a network of some 50 to 100 PCs on Windows 95.
We're also the exclusive distributor of Toshiba notebooks,
among others.
How would you like to head our IT Operations and Support?
You gotta know Linux, networking, internetworking,
firewall/security, scripting (and most everything Linux
is good for) quite well. You'd be responsible for keeping
the servers and the network operational, maintaining the
servers and client configuration, providing help desk
support to users, and so on. You need to have been immersed
in the IT industry for some years now but kept pace with
the technology. You have to be less than 35 but you
don't have to (though you may) hate Microsloth :-)
