ftp and samba can be used to copy files between the client and the server.
With ftp, you can use window's bundled ftp command line program. Or you can
just download nice gui ftp program. FTP doesn't require you to log in to
windows 95 networking. With samba, you have to be logged on to windows
networking for you to be able to create a map on the shared linux drive.
Samba is not good for copying big files over ppp connection. Sometimes,
napuputol. The packet gets bigger because of netbios encapsulation over ip.
So, I prefer ftp.
