As a follow-up to this request for help, here are the technical
specifications provided by the Arlotto website <http://www.arlotto.com/>
for the S3080 model (8-port 10/100Mbps switch). I'm posting it for the
benefit of those who may be interested, and also to help any of you who
wish to point out to me what parts of these specs are worth noting to at
least give me a clue as to the level of performance to expect from this
