try out the cisco catalyst 2926 series. its not a brand/model thing. =)
that's the lower end of the catalysts while still offering 10/100
autosensing capabilities.

Thanks for that recommendation, Orly, but wouldn't you have an opinion as
far as specs are concerned (versus brand/model) so that I can check out
what options I've got? Unfortunately I cannot go extremely high-end, so
I'd like to know instead how to compare one product with another so I can
see how high-end I can go and be happy with my choice. :-)
