If it's just slow then more RAM would help.  If it is really really slow
then it could be that you have'nt formatted or made your swap partition
active.  A symtom for this case would be if you try to open a big app like
netscape, it opens for a long time that you would think that it already
hanged.  This happened to me because I manually partitioned my drive and I
forgot to format and make the swap partition active.

How can I make my swap file active?  You mean to say that after I manually partitioned 
my hard drive and allocate one for swap file, i still have to format it?
