Hi,
I havent actually tried that out in linux, only in solaris. Using solstice
disksuite package, several partitions ( like /dev/hda4 and /dev/sdb1) can
be made a part of a single file system such as /var/mail by striping or
concatenation (this is RAID-0). I checked Software-RAID-Howto
http://www.linuxdoc.org/HOWTO/Software-RAID-HOWTO-4.html
- it described how to achieve same case in linux.
