how come i cannot view the www.yourdomain.com/~username/index.html?
help what did i miss?

if you want something like www.yourdomain.com/index.html....

just upload your files under /home/httpd/home

but if you want something like www.yourdomain.com/~username/index.html

create a public_html directory inside the user's home directory

e.g. mkdir public_html /home/username

then do a chmod

chmod a+rx /home/username/public_html

then upload your files to public_html of each user.
