Ina,
Alternatively, you may also copy all your mysql
libraries (mine's under /usr/local/mysql/lib/mysql/*)
to your system's usual library path /usr/lib.. I did
it on a solaris.
By the way, is anyone aware of a well-documented mySQL
two-way database clustering? I tried the prometheus
project but it's not quite well-documented. Im using a
one-way database replicator script (great for backup)
- it updates a slave but cannot update itself with
changes made on the slave. But i need one i can use
for a load-balanced setup. anyone?
Thanks,
Christie
