The basics of course.  Office (*sigh*) is still a necessity in this day
and age.  You'll also probably want Netscape, and some form of antivirus
(I'd recommend InoculateIT, http://antivirus.cai.com/.  It's free [beer]).
These are the necessities.  We've been able to get by with just these, and
for a while, even without the antivirus.

Maybe you should also load games onto your machines, such as
Half-Life/Counterstrike and Diablo II.  Gross income went up 30% when we
did this, but also because we upgraded our machines to real monsters...
