you should put the IP address of the portslave box in conf.ipno and make sure
IP forwarding is enabled in your kernel.
Do this by either setting /etc/sysctl.conf in redhat 6.2++, or
editing /etc/sysconfig/network for <= redhat 6.1
If you're not using redhat, just do
echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward
