thanks for the inputs.....still wont work....here's the picture of
my network...

cisco router ===> live ip 203.123.xxx.1

radius box+portslave+cyclades =====>live ip 203.123.xxx.3
( ip alias ====> 192.168.1.100)
( gateway =====> 203.123.xxx.1)

now this is what happens...i dialin a windows98 PC to the radius box
and portslave picks up the call, passes authentication to radius and radius assigns ip
address to the windows98 pc.

here's the configuration that the windows98 pc receives from radius after
authentication.

(DNS SERVER: 203.127.225.10 203.127.225.11 ====> this is ok)
( IP ADDRESS: 203.123.xxx.10 =====> this is fine too bec. i set all.ipno to
203.123.xxx.10+ and he logs in on port 1 )
( GATEWAY: 203.123.xxx.10 ======> this is my problem bec. the gateway is the same as
his given ip creating a endless loop. how do i change this so that when the user logs
in he will be assigned a gateway pointing to our cisco router 203.123.xxx.1 instead of
his assigned ip address.

i've read through the list of portslave and radius and have not came across a setting
that takes care of this....is there an option in either radius or portslave that takes
care of assigning the default gateway......I've read about "Framed-Route" but it
doesnt seem to work...

any help would be greatly appreciated...thanks in advance.
