to go on a tangent, endorsements (if going to be needed) need not be
made by people that you have already met. i was going to say the
keyword is "contribution" but that leaves a bad ring to it. i think a
more proper yardstick would be "the degree of PLUG participation."
just like what is stated in the membership guidelines, what is the use
of getting worked up for a PLUG membership status if you are not going
to contribute to its cause?
