To minimize if not avoid data confidentiality compromise, I suggest
that sales rep PDAs have a custom app that stores data, like sales
leads or request for follow-up accounts. Then at the end of the day or
the next day, update the head office by synching the head office with
their PDAs.

The compromise would be that the head office will deal with data
gathered 12hrs past. I can't say if your company accepts that.
