It is a paradox, then, in the FOSS world that (X)Emacs is touted as the
`One True Way' when it comes to editors, when you have so many other
choices: Vim, MousePad, jed, Ibid's editor, etc.  On the other hand,
while many people are religious when it comes to their choice of editor,
they happily coexist with each other without stepping on each other's
toes, or at the very least, are capable to.

Indeed.  And let me add, there's no such thing as a good choice or a bad
choice when it comes to choosing which free software you want.  That
subjectivity comes not from choice, but from use.
