Just want  to share. I got a Acer TravelMate 4500 (Centrino based) with 
a Intel Pro wireless 2200 BG card. It worked well with the Live CD of  
Ubuntu Hoary. This has been one of  my wish list on my laptop-- a Linux 
distro to make the wireless work. I tried Knoppix it had a kernel panic. 
I like the idea of live CDs because I can test Linux without erasing 
anything.
