got me a lot of headache on that one too :)

eventually this a documented bug of FC4, i forgot the link though, the workaround is after booting from CD, first type any garbage phrase or letter, like "garbage", the purpose is to first fail the kernel after doing so, oddly hitting enter after the error your installation will continue just fine :)
